A popular Melbourne Icon; the NGV

The National Gallery of Victoria is a popular exhibition located in the heart of Melbourne. The NGV is not only popular for its large exhibitions (Van Gogh for example), but also for its free smaller exhibitions, and events which run frequently. The space outside is also free to access, and is a great area to have a picnic, or just sit back on the supplied cushions, and enjoy the greenery of the gardens. There are numerous cafes and restaurants also available within the NGV, or tables located outside if you’re a lunchbox type of person (like me!)

I hope you enjoy your day out at the NGV!
